We’ve updated our product roadmap, forged important partnerships, held AMAs, and more!
What a month! We have been cranking hard on improving the Meter network, forging new partnerships, and much more.
Read on to learn about our updates to our roadmap and community.
And of course, please share Meter with others who may be interested!
Please read this blog post for important updates to our roadmap. Here’s the TL;DR:
- We have been working on increasing Meter’s interoperability with Ethereum. When this is done, mainnet MTR and MTRG will be easily integrated into popular Ethereum wallets like MetaMask, Ethereum DApps can be easily ported to run on Meter, it will be easier for Meter to support multiple interconnecting chains, and more! These improvements will increase the use of MTR as a medium of exchange and bring more value to MTRG, eMTRG, and the Meter network as a whole.
- Because these developments will cause a major network upgrade, we believe it is safer to complete this work before we launch open staking and on-chain auctions. We expect staking to go live Jan 2021 and are creating programs to help you achieve similar results until then.
- We are also working on new uses for eMTRG and making sure that MTRG/eMTRG conversion is as seamless as possible.
- Finally, we are delaying the release of team tokens from January to July 2021 to show our commitment to the success of this project.
Please read the post for more details and let us know if you have any questions.
eMTRG -> MTRG bridge goes live
We accelerated the development of the eMTRG - > MTRG bridge and launched it earlier this month. Read this post to learn how to use the bridge to map eMTRG to MTRG.
We forged two great partnerships that will help increase the use of the Meter network and its tokens.
First, we partnered with Matic Network to bring MTR to their blockchain to help scale and stabilize Ethereum DeFi. Read about the partnership here.
We’ll also work with Chads.vc to launch the very first decentralized exchange on Meter DeFi infrastructure! Read about that partnership here.
We held two AMAs to answer questions and spread the word about Meter. Click on the links below to read their transcripts:
